Aziz's style of effective management combined with his ability to blend in as an informed friend endears him to his clients. There is always a possibility of problems during a trip in Africa, but we have seen Aziz improvise, adjust and solve these problems in a professional manner without missing a step. Aziz has a great sense of humor and is very good with children, teens and older generations. His vehicles are well maintained and clean. The drivers are well trained, knowledgeable, courteous and very good at finding and observing animals while keeping their passengers safe.
Hats of to the wonderful people at Tandala for an experience we will never forget. Tandala really worked with us and fulfilled all our wishes. The safari was magnificent. Our guide Joseph was very knowledgeable, enthusiastic and kind, but most of all made us feel welcome and relaxed. He showed us amazing things (many safari-goers will not believe our stories until they see the pictures) and was more than willing to go the extra mile to show them to us. From luxury hotels to a truly private campsite in the middle of the Serengeti with visits from lions and hyenas, it was all arranged perfectly (well, the lions at the campsite thing was a stroke of luck of course, but still).
Tandala also took care of our trip to Zanzibar and made sure that we were well taken care of there. It really makes for a special holiday when you know you are in the hands of people that really care. Thank you Tandala.
On Safari with Tandala Expeditions - A truly Memor

Having owned a group tour company for more than 15 years, my husband and I have had the opportunity to take hundreds of people on safari in Tanzania, as well as take many personal trips there ourselves. The best of the best and the only safari company that we would consider using is Tandala Expeditions, owned by Aziz Hajee. Tandala has the most knowledgeable, friendly and courteous driver/guides, who dispense interesting details about the people, the animals and the customs and country they love. They patiently answer all questions and go out of their way to please their clients, whether it is shopping for some forgotten item, buying exotic fruits or cookies for a mid-morning snack, or finding health care and looking after someone who is ill or injured.
The vehicles that Tandala Expeditions uses are also the very best and well–equipped to handle any event or any road conditions they might encounter while on safari. They are always immaculate with lots of room, comfortable seats, large windows and open tops to accommodate photographers and give them the best shots of the animals. There were always bean bags for cameras, pockets for personal items, coolers for cold drinks and every other amenity that anyone could want while on safari.
As for the Aziz and his office staff, their attention to detail and care and concern for their clients is unmatched. They take care of the day-to-day needs of their clients and do everything they can to fulfill special requests, because they realize that providing little “extras” can mean a lot to people and can make a trip truly memorable. Aziz often has groups to his private home near Usa River to relax, have a meal, freshen up and enjoy the views of Mount Kilimanjaro from the beautiful gardens. We have taken many families with children on safari. Aziz and his staff always made sure that the children were looked after and often had special stories or information about the animals to keep them entertained. Whether you choose to do the more “standard” Northern Circuit” of Tanzania or explore some of the more remote and wild areas of Southern Tanzania, Tandala Expeditions will professionally and competently handle the details for you. Out of the hundreds of people that we have taken on safari with Tandala Expeditions, we have never had a single complaint. Even years later, almost all of our clients say that their safari in Tanzania was the best trip that they have ever taken and one that they will never forget. Tandala EXpeditions surpasses our expectations. They do everything with care and provide the most memorable experience. They handhold all our clients and in 13 years of working with them, we have yet to receive complaints. We can have the most VIP guests and once they go on safari with Tandala, we know we have them for ever.
Great company and Aziz is really hardowrking person and his team of dedicated staff follow his dreams and love for the country.
