Good Earth Safari does a GREAT Job!

We had an amazing experience with Good Earth Tours. We covered Lake Manyara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro and the Masai village in four days. Our guide was so knowledgeable and accommodating. He basically went above and beyond to make sure that we had the best time possible. It was pretty amazing because he was able to spot animals that we had difficulty spotting even with binoculars. We saw the big 5 animals and every other animal in between which was maybe luck of the draw but more likely because we had a safari expert leading our expedition because I know for certain that not all safari groups had our kind of experience. One of the best parts of our trip was that it was baby season so we saw all sorts of baby animals. It was adorable. And every meal, our cook made sure we ate like kings. It seemed that at every meal the other safaris would look over at our meals with envy. In fact, one of the other groups wouldn't believe us based on our meals when we said that we were simply paying for a budget experience.

We went with the budget camping safari and I was a bit nervous as to what that meant in Africa, but the accommodations were surprisingly decent. Some of the other outfits looked like they might have had newer vehicles or nicer tents, but I really do believe that we got the most for our money (Goodearthtours.com was probably one of the most affordable of the safari groups that we were considering). The only place that I might have chosen to get lodging rather than camping out was at the crater of Ngorongoro (because it was a bit chilly) but then I wouldn't have gotten the chance to see a group of zebras grazing outside my tent.

GoodEarthTours.com made sure that our experience was great in every possible way and I would highly recommend them to anyone interested in seeing all that a Tanzanian safari has to offer.

Great Trip

I would recommend Good Earth Tours to anyone climbing Kilimanjaro. This tour costs around $3,000 when you go with a big American Co. In comparison, Good Earth costs around $1,500. It's also part Tanzanian-owned, so your dollars go more directly into the local economy.
