On 02nd August 2022 Zanzibar issued updated Travel Advisory No.11; fully vaccinated travelers are no longer requested to present a negative Covid-19 test to enter Zanzibar, and unvaccinated children below 12 years are not required to present any Covid-19 tests to enter Zanzibar. On 14th July 2022, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority announced that Seneto Descent Road used as the main access point to gain entry to the Ngorongoro Crater is now officially opened.
