Strengthening International Partnerships for Tourism Sector in Tanzania

The Tanzania Association of Tour Operators (TATO) continues to champion global engagement and strategic collaboration as a driving force behind the growth of Tourism Sector in Tanzania. In line with this commitment, the TATO Board, led by Chairman Mr. Willy Chambulo – had the honor of meeting H.E. Marjo Crompvoets, the Dutch Ambassador to Tanzania, at Gran Meliá Arusha.

This high-level engagement marked an important step in strengthening bilateral cooperation between Tanzania and the Kingdom of the Netherlands, a country that has long been a key partner in tourism, conservation, and development initiatives across East Africa.

Ambassador Crompvoets reaffirmed her government’s commitment to supporting Tanzania’s development priorities, particularly in tourism, a sector that plays a critical role in job creation, foreign exchange earnings, and international visibility.
