No Confirmed Marburg Virus Disease Cases in Tanzania

The Tanzania Association of Tour Operators (TATO) wishes to address recent concerns regarding a suspected Marburg Virus Disease (MVD) outbreak in the Kagera Region.

The Ministry of Health of the United Republic of Tanzania has issued a press release stating that while initial reports suggested a possible outbreak, laboratory tests have confirmed no cases of Marburg Virus Disease.
