PROFILE: A & N Uniques Safaris (2000) Ltd owns their own fleet of vehicles and maintains them to the highest standard on our own campus with a full mechanics shop. This is an important “behind the scenes” factor because when a company owns their vehicles they are very invested in keeping them in the best working order. Safari vehicles are an enormous expense and many companies hire other vehicles to avoid these costs for purchase and maintenance. However, vehicle breakdowns can ruin your safari unless you are with a company that can quickly dispatch replacements so you can continue to enjoy what you paid for. There are no paved roads in any of the national parks or game reserves in Tanzania so the wear and tear on vehicles, tires and parts is significant and keeping vehicles in good working order is essential to our service.
